Joséphine Montocchio is a Lawyer at BLC Chambers and holds a Maîtrise en Droit des Affaires from Université Lumière Lyon II, France.

She specialises in civil, corporate and commercial law. Since joining BLC Chambers in 2015, she has assisted in various corporate transactions which involved mainly drafting of legal documentation, issuing of legal opinions and carrying out of legal due diligence exercises on companies incorporated in Mauritius. She regularly assists in transactions relating to mergers and acquisitions.

Joséphine has worked on major transactions such as providing legal assistance in relation to an investment in a power project in a Nigerian company through a Mauritian entity. She has also recently provided legal assistance with respect to an investment into a Mauritian company holding a subsidiary located in France.
