Yashfir Beeharry Yashfir Beeharry is a barrister at BLC Robert and is part of the Mergers and Acquisitions transaction team.

Since joining BLC Robert in November 2014, Yashfir has worked on a number of corporate and insolvency matters. He advised and acted for one of the largest motor corporations in Japan in relation to an MUR 25 Million dispute with the special administrator of Iframac Ltd, one of the subsidiaries the defunct BAI Group. He also advised Courts Asia in respect of its proposed acqusition of the Courts Business in Mauritius, which was the furniture business of Iframac Ltd.

In 2017, he advised a wholly-owned subsidiary of MCB Group Limited (who owns the biggest bank in Mauritius) for the acquisition of the entire shareholding of Club Med S.A.S, representing 84.43% of the shares in COVIFRA, a company listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius and which owns the Club Med La Pointe aux Cannoniers.

He recently advised Surya Capital Management LP with respect to its acqusition of shares in EMF Magical Farm PLC, an 87 acres large carnation nursery based in Ethiopia where they grow large headed carnations, also known as standard carnations.

Yashfir also regularly assists and advises leading real estate players in Mauritius such as Two Futures, a real estate developer in Mauritius having developed high end residential and institutional grade commercial real estate projects and Four Seasons Anahita, a world class luxury resort in Mauritius.

Yashfir holds an LLB from the University of Hertfordshire. He did the Bar Professional Training Course at Northumbria University and was called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable society of the Middle Temple. He is a member of the Bar Association in Mauritius and the Bar Council in the United Kingdom.
