Yohann Rajahbalee is a barrister at BLC Chambers. He is mainly involved in commercial dispute resolutions and also practises in the areas of corporate, business and employment law.

Since joining BLC Chambers in December 2015, Yohann has worked in a high value arbitration dispute for one of the largest and oldest construction company in Mauritius. He is also part of a legal team involved in a complex contractual dispute between high profile organisations, based both locally and internationally. He has further been called upon to provide ancillory advices on incorporation and registraton of offshore companies in Mauritius. He also worked on the registration of a world renowned trademark in Mauritius as well as in Africa. Yohann has moreover advised a high profile Bank, a multinational hotel based in Mauritius and several other organisations in respect of employment issues.

Yohann holds a “Licence en Droit” from the Université Paris X Nanterre (France) and also a LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent (England). He was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 2014 and was admitted to the Bar of Mauritius in September 2015.

He undertook his pupillage at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in the Asset Recovery unit and further with Senior Counsel Ravin Chetty at 5 St James Court Chambers.
